Dessert was a scrumptious pound cake with ice cream and berry filling. Actually, heaven on a plate. Teresa and her staff made our evening very special.
Comfortable elegant atmosphere, yet family oriented for older children. I didn't see a child's menu, but wasn't looking. Excellent wait staff! Food had very nice presentation and was delicious. Fish was fresh. A special place for special occasions.
Delicious food, excellent service lots of fresh veggies. Locally sourced - farm to table philosophy. Charming owners personally invited us to come to dinner, so happy we did! They were full, glad we got a reservation.
We went to Spoon River last night. What a wonderful dining experience. For an appetizer we had crab stuffed oysters. Main course was a rack of lamb and duck breast. The oysters were amazing. Both entrees were grilled to perfection.
We went to Spoon River for dinner last week. Both the service and food were wonderful! The portions are very large and everything on the menu sounded delicious--which made it very tough to decide!
Amazing experience! Greeted by the owner at the door and felt as though we were the most important people there...as I'm sure everyone did. Wonderful selection of local foods presented beautifully! Our six year old was treated as though he was royalty. Cocktails suggested by Teresa, the owner were unique, delicious and perfectly matched with the season. Appetizers and entrees were incredible and will keep us raving about them. So very much more than we expected! We will definitely return!
